Surviving the Recession: Internet Jobs

Preparing for disasters, whether natural or man made, is important for everyone to do. Something a lot of people don't think about is preparing for losing their job. In this economic climate, where thousands of workers are losing their jobs everyday, it is important to have something to fall back on. A couple months worth of food and an emergency cash stash will help someone get through a job loss while seeking other work. There are some companies that are still hiring, and some good jobs that can be worked from home. Most require a broadband Internet connection, and a land line telephone, both of which most people already have.

Working a home based job takes a lot of discipline. You don't have bosses or supervisors breathing down you neck; you have to get up, get yourself going, and keep yourself on track while working. I currently work for Alpine Access and I really like it. The training is very extensive and I was trained to handle nearly any issue that could some up with the customer. The company runs surprisingly well considering that all it's employees are spread out all across the country. I get to work from my home office. Which means no commute, no gas expenses, no uniforms or other things. I can work in my pajamas and never have to leave the house. I have been doing this for a few months now and I plan on staying with them while I am still in college. This would be a great opportunity for a stay at home mom that wants to make a few extra bucks, a homesteader needing a steady income, or someone who has just lost their job to help pay the bills. Here is a list from Yahoo! Hotjobs that show the top 10 companies hiring for work at home positions.
